
It was one of the big criticisms of Fallout 2. Those that hated the amount of pop-culture easter eggs in Fallout 2 and those that liked them. Fallout 2 has this as well, but there are far more easter eggs that are about pop-culture references and even some fourth wall breaking easter eggs outside of the world map.

Intended to add some humor into the game, something to do while going though the wasteland. Fallout has random special encounters while travelling through the world map. For those that aren't familiar with Fallout and Fallout 2, I will fill you in.


Wild Wasteland wasn't meant to make the game completely different.
